Project Manager, CH2M Hill

Andrea Gardner is a project manager and the Southwest Region Sustainable Solutions Manager for CH2M HILL, a global planning, design, and construction firm. She guides regional efforts to implement sustainable engineering and design solutions for a range of infrastructure projects. She has a B.S. in Mathematics from Stanford University, an M.A. in Urban Planning from UCLA, and is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional.

This workshop will cover how CH2M HILL, a global planning, design, and construction firm, is applying sustainability both to client projects and to the company’s own internal operations. Ms. Gardner will discuss several more focused and practical definitions of sustainability that CH2M HILL uses to promote implementation of sustainable approaches in projects and the global trends and drivers that are pushing clients towards sustainability. She will present several examples of how CH2M HILL has incorporated sustainability into projects. She will also show how the company has used its knowledge of sustainability to address the impacts of its own business operations.
