Real Goods Solar is a full service solar design and solar installation company with over 33 years of experience in the sustainability industry. As the original and most experienced  solar provider, we have installed over 6,000 commercial and residential solar systems. We have offices in Ukiah, Hopland, Santa Rosa, San Rafael, Santa Cruz, Campbell, Murrieta and Fresno, California as well as Boulder, Colorado.  A proud part of the Real Goods family of services, which includes solar installation, solar education and eco-products, is the Solar Living Institute, in Hopland, California. The SLI is a non-profit, 12-acre learning oasis of inspiration and sustainability.

Real Goods Solar is a leading solar electric installer for residential and commercial projects, having installed over 6,000 systems in California and Colorado. In fact, we sold the first retail solar panel in the United States back in 1978!
