Meet the Consultants:Susan Briski is a sustainable business consultant and educator with clients that include business, academia, and community groups. After 20 years as an engineer and manager at Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies, Susan received her Green MBA. She now has 7 years of knowledge and experience in the field of sustainability, current with latest ecological-commerce models and practices used particularly by business, including how to green your business and how to address climate change issues. She also teaches a course on these latest sustainability practices in the Green MBA program at Dominican University. Emily Courtney recently completed her Green MBA. She has a background in the non-profit sector as a job skills, entrepreneurship and ecology instructor. Her areas of emphasis are sustainable food systems, residential resource efficiency and renewable generation, and local, regenerative enterprise facilitation. Do you have a enterprise you'd like to bring to market that will make your community healthier and more vibrant? Emily is looking forward to using her business planning expertise to help you realize your vision. David Hodgson completed his Green MBA in December of 2007. He is a cofounder of the Idea Hive, a consultancy focused on teaching organizations tools for collaborative innovation which empower them to move effectively towards sustainability. David enjoys helping organizations uncover and explore their potential to grow their triple top line. Sarah Isabel will be graduating from the Green MBA in December of 2008. An experienced yoga teacher, she can help answer any questions you might have around health and wellness in regards to the green movement. 'It is by focusing more on our inner life's development and bringing forth our unique gifts, we can learn to live more lightly on the Earth, and find meaning through a more compassionate and fulfillng approach to life.' Josh Kelly comes to the Green MBA with 10 years of office management experience ranging from beverage startups to the SF Opera. He has recently been involved with restaurants and coffee shops in San Francisco helping them become more green, and can answer questions about how to green your operations and supply chain. Ryan Milani will finish his Green MBA in December 08 with a focus in education and training. He has been researching innovation in social networking and other web marketing strategies. Ryan can help answer any questions you might have around leveraging the internet and other technology in your business. Jen Thille is currently a Sebastopol Planning Commissioner and City Council Candidate and just completed her Green MBA. She is very interested in the success of local green businesses because they are a key component in a thriving and sustainable local economy. Jen Thille would like to work with potential new green businesses and provide assistance with their business planning and strategies for success. |
