Local Carbon Offset

The Sustainable Enterprise Conference recognizes the imperative for businesses and events such as ours to not only reduce our carbon impact, but also to offset where possible. One way of doing this is by purchasing carbon offsets. A range of options are available to offset carbon impacts, many of them supporting projects around the globe that sequester or decrease carbon emissions.

We choose to donate generously to a local community-based organization that is restoring a local creek through tree-planting and other projects. We feel that this community based carbon offset balances our desire to mitigate the conference carbon impact and serve local needs. Join us.

Revenue from our raffle goes to the Cotati Creek Critters supporting their ongoing efforts to remediate Cotati’s reach of the Laguna de Santa Rosa. In addition, their work actively enhances the creek’s walkways and bicycle path creating an urban greenway for all to enjoy. Cotati Creek Critters is fiscally sponsored by the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Participants can purchase raffle tickets at the registration/information desk. In addition, volunteers will be selling them throughout the day.

Raffle prizes include gift baskets, gift certificates, wine and more generously donated by local vendors.
