In the spring of 2006, Ryn Longmaid attended the first Sustainable Enterprise Conference as a function of her position as Economic Development Specialist for the City of Sebastopol.

Having owned and operated a local business for years, sustainable business management resonated with her deeply. Ryn officially joined the Sustainable Enterprise Coalition in 2007, and served as the marketing director for the conference in 2008. Ryn has managed various sustainability programs and is currently the program manager for the executive certificate program: Green your MBA at Dominican University of California in San Rafael.
