Conference Marketing, Sustainable Enterprise 2008

In the spring of 2006, Ryn Longmaid attended the first Sustainable Enterprise Conference as a function of her position as Economic Development Specialist for the City of Sebastopol.

Having owned and operated a local business for years, the subject matter resonated with her deeply. In 2007, Ryn officially joined the Sustainable Enterprise Coalition, and this year she serves as the Conference Marketing Director.

Ryn has a background in Architecture and the Culinary Arts and her work-world has included independent bookshops, nuclear power plants, steel tank manufacturing and jet-setting as a personal chef! She currently works with the Climate Protection Campaign as the Business Energy Specialist and serves on the board of The Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy.
