Jan Kahdeman

Jan owns and operates Jan Kahdeman Communications, a consulting business specializing in marketing communications, public relations, grant research/writing, and technical writing.  Jan sees herself as a writer first and foremost, and her passion is in delivering just the right message, with just the right words. Her interest in working within her local community has led her to public relations roles for non-profit organizations including the Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy, the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center, and the North Bay Chapter of the American Heart Association. 

Jan also enjoys a deep passion for music and performing. She plays the guitar, mandolin, and mandola, and leads the local all-woman gypsy swing band, the Haute Flash Quartet. She is also a mandolin and mandola player in the 12-member, all mandolin family Gravenstein Mandolin Ensemble.
