Rick Theis

Rick Theis is the recipient of Models and Mentors Award from the Sonoma County Community Foundation in 2005 and the first Sonoma County Conservation Action Community Activist Award in 2002.  He is the founder and board chair of the Leadership Institute for Ecology and the Economy.  Prior to this he served as executive director of the Sonoma County Grape Growers Association; as public relations director for the wine division of The Coca-Cola Company; as a public relations manager for Wine Institute; and as a television producer for the University of Minnesota.  He also serves as a trustee of Sonoma Academy and on the Executive Committee of the Accountable Development Coalition.
